Back to the dark and violent world of Hate for a couple more angry barbarians. This first chap looks particularly imposing and animalistic, as if he’s about to charge like a bull and do some unfortunate soul a lot of damage with that big axe.
Meanwhile his smaller sidekick (and/or rival – I’m loosing track of who belongs to which tribe with these at the moment) still looks more than capable of causing all kinds of mayhem with that battered old sword.
This isn’t a project I’m feeling the need to dedicate myself to at the moment but I am enjoying having a few of these around and picking up the odd model here and there whenever the fancy takes me. Expect to see more of them popping up here and there over the months ahead.

Cheers! They’re really nice models aren’t they? Loads of fun to paint too. Such a shame that they made this game limited edition (and so unnecessary too) – would have been great to see more tribes released from time to time. Still, I have about a billion of them to paint already so I can’t complain… 😅

These are a mean lot! Every time I see one, I think they look perfect for the Chaos Wastes of Warhammer Fantasy. Either that or squaring off with Conan perhaps! Great job painting them and I’ll be looking forward to seeing more 🙂

Cheers! The reason you’re getting a WHFB Warriors of Chaos vibe off them – and I 100% agree by the way – is that Adrian Smith, who’s art these are based on, also did some of the most iconic Warriors of Chaos art. To me this is everything the generic Chaos Marauders should have been.

That makes sense and while I know Adrian Smith’s name, I’d never made the connection between the two. GW could certainly give the Warriors of Chaos a bit of refresh to elevate them to this level!

Looking great! I’ve only seen a handful of Hate miniatures online (I really need to get to googling), but every one I have seen is so brutally full of character. Like you said, shame it’s only a limited edition.

Cheers! They’re really nice models in my opinion, every one of them is just packed with character. Well worth getting if you like barbarians and can find them at a decent price (which sadly is getting tricky these days).

These thugs really do look like they mean business. I’m not sure just how much the first one actually has to fight, I’m guessing most opponents simply have the sense to turn and run!

I really like how well these Hate models have come out. I’ve got the sets too, but I can’t start a new project every time I see one of your bloody posts! – need to finish a few more models off first!

Heh, I’ll probably have to finish a whole lot of my old Citadel Chaos models before I get properly stuck into the Hate stuff. Working on a couple of those right now, in fact!
