Continuing the Nurgle theme, the last models to be painted in January were this brood of malevolent little Glitchlings. Glitchlings are essentially bio-mechanical Nurglings, little daemons which infest machines and cause them to malfunction in evil and dementing manners. I think there’s probably one in every printer…
As well as these three I painted another one ages ago, but there’s no harm in reminding ourselves of how he looks as well.
These models first appeared as part of the Kill Team: Rogue Trader set (a box of models that I enthused over a great deal but, in a story that most readers will find very familiar, still need to paint most of).
Anyway, with these nasty little mites out of the way I’ll be turning my attention to Fembruary for the next few weeks.

Ooh, nasty wee buggers aren’t they? Nicely done mate 🤘

Cheers dude, they’re evil looking little rascals aren’t they. 😁

Those are great- I wish I picked them up when they were available.
Cheers,
Pete.

Nicely done as always. I reckon I’ve go a few of these in some appliances at the moment!

Thanks mate! Yeah, I suspect my house is swarming with the little devils.

Cheers! Yeah, I’ve thought that about quite a few models over the years! 😅

Very cute the little fellas. Well painted, too!

There are definitely some of those in every printer including the one I own! I don’t recall seeing these sculpts before and they’re quite the little rascally charmers if I do so so myself 🙂

Aye, I reckon every printer made has come with something demonic pre-installed. When the machines rise up and take over those bastards are going to be leading the charge. Those former-rebels-turned-government-stooges Rage Against The Machine never specified exactly which machine had them so pissed off, but my money is on it being a printer. This may be part of the reason I’ve tended to steer away from 3d printing up to now, it sounds great in theory and I’m sure it could be a boon to the hobby, but knowing what a pain in the arse 2d printers can be I’m not convinced that adding a 3rd dimension will make them any less Satanic! 😀
Anyway, glad you like the Glitchlings. They were part of the Kill Team: Rogue Trader box which was available for a while. I thought it was a really cool set actually, it brought in all kinds of odds and ends which hadn’t been explored otherwise in 40k, or which only appeared in the background. Blackstone Fortress followed along much the same path, and it’s something I’d like to see them do more with in the future. The main factions of 40k are cool but there’s a lot of overlooked ideas that really deserve a bit of attention.

That is a very good point on 3D printing. I do enough troubleshooting in my job as it is, that I don’t think I have much of an appetite to do more with my hobby as well.
Ahh… I do remember Rogue Trader. I liked the other faction in the box but I don’t paint anything Nurgle (he’s my least favorite chaos god) so that makes sense why I didn’t recognize them. I’d like to see them revisit Blackstone and Rogue Trader as well. Both have a really cool aesthetic!

Cool man. Nasty little things

Cheers dude 🙂

Great work on these – and there’s definitely one of them in my printer at work. It only works from the external fold-out feeder and not the internal tray!

Cheers! Aye, has there ever been a printer that behaved itself and did as it was supposed to? If there was I’ve never heard of it. I tell you, when the machines rise up to exterminate us it’ll be those paper chewing bastards leading the charge!

Killer drones with Printer CPUs!
