Actually, looking at this chap, I don’t imagine he’s walked softly in his entire life…
I got this model a number of years ago and, being more young and enthusiastic than actually capable, did a fairly poor job of painting him. He’d been lurking, as so many of my models are, in the bottom of a box until I spotted him, dug him out and gave him a quick repaint. He comes from the Mad Puppet range, which also supplied the base model I used for this Escher juve. I actually have most of the Mad Puppet post-apocalyptic models kicking around somewhere so, as I locate them, expect to see them popping up here (almost certainly following a repaint of their own).

Nice! He’s really cool mate – I do love me a big angry face & chain-gun combo 🙂

Aye, it just calls to mind so many cool, and suitably ludicrous, action movie moments – makes teenage me very happy! 😀

A goliath juve perhaps?

Good shout, he’s got the muscles for it. I was thinking maybe a bounty hunter – he’s too tough and grizzled to be a Juve 😉

That is still my all time favorite catch phrase from Dawn of War… Great job on the paint man.

It’s such a good line isn’t it? Very characteristic of 40k, and it always makes me think of the Space Marine scout models as well, a whole squad of guys sneaking around and one at the back with a heavy bolter about the wreck their stealth mission completely!

Not a manufacturer I’m familiar with but I like the figure and the paint job, all very nice mate.

They’re well worth checking out – http://www.madpuppetminiatures.com/
They haven’t done anything new in a while, but some very nice stuff in the range. Glad you like him 🙂

That quote… Reminds me of the Tank Girl movie soundtrack… I owned it on CD… I now own the downloaded album… Your fault🤓…

I’ll take the credit for that! Just reminded myself of what all was on that soundtrack and there’s some great tunes in there 🙂

Looking great! Love the green helmet!
The model would also work pretty well as a Blood Pact trooper, I think.
April 9th, 2019 at 7:41 am
Cheers man! You’re right about him looking like he’d fit in with the Blood Pact. There’s nothing overtly Chaotic about him but he’s clearly a bit of a ruffian 🙂

Nice work- I can just picture him hosing down some unlucky so and so… in full on hollywood action mode.
Cheers,
Pete.

Precisely what I thought when I saw him 😀 Glad you like him!

He’s a lefty, too. Don’t see that too often, so it’s a cool bit of extra variety.
The helmet kinda reminds me of Koopas from Mario.

Ah, you’re right enough – I hadn’t spotted that, you don’t see many left-handed miniatures it’s true.

Love the helmet. Good job man
