The dead just aren’t staying in their graves these days are they? Here’s two more Poxwalkers for the slowly gathering horde.

Gruesome. What’s the weapon in the left hand of the first model?

Cheers 🙂 He’s got a hammer and a broken blade of some sort. I had assumed it was a knife but someone just suggested it might be a chisel which would make more sense with the hammer.

    Yummm!!! (gribble gribble gribble)

Another great pair of these – you’re making me want to start on mine, but I need to stay strong and get other stuff finished and out of the way first…

Cheers 🙂 I’m hoping to get all of mine done by the end of the year, which should be plenty of time but equally should encourage me to keep chipping away at them and not let them gather dust.

Is that an eyeball in the armpit?! Nice paints, I really like the hammer and mace weapon. What are you using for the rust effect? I’ve been trying thinned down Skrag Brown. Seems to work okay for small bits.

Gosh – two questions at once! I think the lump in the armpit is probably meant to be some kind of boil or spot but I painted it as an eyeball. To be honest I wasn’t entirely sure about it but you both being so positive about it has set my mind at ease.

As for the rusty metal I started with my usual recipe for dirty weathered metal; a coat of leadbelcher followed by a coat of agrax earthshade. At the moment I’m really getting into sponge weathering, so for larger areas of rust I go mournfang brown, then skrag then trollslayer orange. Stippling it on works just as well for smaller areas. Hope that helps.

Speak, damn you!
