In the Mortal Realms and 41st Millennium alike the power of Tzeentch is waxing. Being, as I am, a degenerate worshipper of the Dark Gods, I’m easily distracted from my expressed goals (the Chapel and my shambling undead horde) and have rushed out to beseech the Changer from the comfort of the nearest unnatural flux-cairn. In return the Great Conspirator inspired me to manufacture another cultist through which to do his nefarious bidding.
He still needs a little greenstuff to make the head fit snugly on the neck and of course at this stage he’s still subject to change (see what I did there) so as ever your feedback is appreciated

The head, so cool! Sweet and simple kitbash, mate.

Cheers! Yeah, it didn’t take much (just a new hand and a new head) to really change the feel of the whole model. As convertors we often like to push ourselves, mixing and matching bits, but it can be rather nice to just do a simple head-swap and suddenly uncover something new.

I hear you!

Simple but effective mate. I like him.

Cheers mate – even Tzeentch likes something straightforward and effort-free once in a while!

Very cool mate, easy and effective. He must work out – that mace head if effing massive!

I hadn’t considered it from this angle until now but yes – I deliberately chose a weapon that matched his strength so why did GW give their standard Kairic Acolytes so many little weapons like staffs and ritual blades (which do fit the Tzeentchian aesthetic) and then give them far more muscle mass than they need to wield them? Another reason I’m not a huge fan of the Kairics…

Agreed. I wonder how hard it would be to use Kairic bits on Flagellants? They are a far more appropriate body plan IMO…

Just checked and yes, they fit together fairly well. Some cutting/greenstuffing at the neck would be needed to make the Kairic heads fit onto the Flagellant bodies but it’s definitely possible.
