And after a slight hiatus a forth pestilent Terminator lumbers forth from Nurgle’s garden!
Unlike the others I wanted to tone down the guts and go for a more restrained horror, whilst still making it clear that this is a servant of the plague god.
I also wanted to try some new things on the base (rather than just using more green gunk. Much and all as I love green gunk…)
And here he is with his foul battle brothers. Just got a bargain on some ‘pre-loved’ Black Reach terminators so don’t expect this to be the last we see of this filthy squad. In the meantime your thoughts are as welcome as ever.

Jesus mate! He is a stand out. I like “restrained horror” haha. Brilliant. One thing I did notice though is that the different coloured sections seemed really placed. Sectioned off from each other quite obviously. Especially in the legs. Was that an intentional thing? He is my favourite from the group although I think I’ve said that with each new addition haha.

Cheers mate 🙂 Yes, the neat divisions between the colours is intentional. With Nurgle it’s easy for all the colours to become a bit of a blur. All the stains/goo/gunk/rust/etc leads to the outlines of what’s actually being painted becoming broken up so I tend towards a slightly starker approach than I normally would to balance that out.

Ahhh I thought there’d be a reason. Good to know.

Nice one! The squad is turning out really well and as usual loving the colour scheme. Nurgle is pleased!!

Cheers – if Nurgle is happy then I’m happy 🙂

Another corker mate – love that hammer!

Thanks – the hammer is nabbed from the Avatars of War Corruptors. I liked that it looks impressively solid even in his hand, but not so big as to be unwieldy.

Maaan these guys are the coolest! You’re making me want to get some csm terminators of my own.
The helmet and the hanging chainmail are perfect details that sell the stagnated look of nurgle
Aces!

Cheers mate – and yes, you should definitely take on some chaos terminators, I’m sure you could do something amazing with them 🙂
